Fresh and Flavorful Caesar Salad Shrimp Wraps You Need to Try

Learn how to make delicious Caesar Salad Shrimp Wraps. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

Choosing the right ingredients is the heart of this dish. I always opt for fresh, crunchy romaine lettuce and the freshest shrimp I can find — nothing beats that sweet ocean flavor paired with creamy dressing. When it comes to the Caesar dressing, homemade or a good-quality store-bought one works equally well, especially when time is tight. And don’t forget the wraps — soft flour tortillas hold everything together just right, soft yet sturdy enough for the filling.

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: croutons or toasted bread crumbs for extra crunch
  • Fresh lemon wedges for squeezing

If you’re looking to switch things up, baby kale or mixed greens can substitute the romaine, and whole wheat or spinach wraps add a nice twist while keeping it nutritious.

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Toss the shrimp with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Warm the tortillas briefly in a dry pan or microwave to make them flexible and easier to roll.
  4. In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing until evenly coated. Add grated Parmesan cheese and gently mix.
  5. Lay a tortilla flat and add a generous handful of dressed lettuce down the center. Top with cooked shrimp and, if using, sprinkle croutons or toasted bread crumbs for crunch.
  6. Squeeze a little fresh lemon juice over the filling for brightness.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a wrap.
  8. Serve immediately, or wrap in parchment paper for an easy, portable meal.
