- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 2 cups Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the biscuit mix, milk, cheddar cheese, melted butter, and garlic powder. Stir until just combined and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Old Bay seasoning. Heat until the mixture begins to simmer.
- Add the shrimp and crab meat to the cream sauce, cooking until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the peas and carrots, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the seafood mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the top of the seafood mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
