Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna Recipe for a Hearty Comfort Meal

Learn how to make delicious Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

The key to this dish lies in selecting the right ingredients that bring out the best flavors with minimal effort. I always reach for fresh, high-quality ravioli—cheese-filled works beautifully here—and a robust marinara sauce, preferably homemade or a trusted brand with simple, wholesome ingredients. Fresh mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan add that irresistible cheesy layer that makes this dish shine. Since I’m always mindful of my kids’ preferences, I like to keep the spice mild but flavorful.

  • 1 (25-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Substitution tip: Use spinach or meat ravioli for variety, or swap mozzarella for provolone for a different cheesy twist

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the crockpot, spreading it evenly.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce. Don’t worry about perfectly arranging them; overlapping is fine.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and a bit of parmesan over the ravioli, then add a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining sauce, ravioli, and cheeses, finishing with parmesan on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours. The ravioli should be tender and the cheese bubbly.
  7. About 10 minutes before serving, switch the crockpot to warm or low to keep it cozy without overcooking.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if using, slice, and serve warm. My kids love it with a sprinkle of extra parmesan!
