- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then stir in the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix—the batter should be slightly lumpy but uniform.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar topping evenly over the batter.
