Sweet Heat Delight Honey Sriracha Salmon Bowls That Wow Your Taste Buds

Learn how to make delicious Honey Sriracha Salmon Bowls. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

The key to this dish lies in selecting the right ingredients that let each flavor shine. Fresh salmon is my top choice — it cooks quickly and stays juicy when glazed just right. I always pick ripe honey for natural sweetness and a good-quality sriracha for that perfect kick without overpowering the dish. When it comes to the veggies, I like what’s fresh and in season, which keeps the bowls vibrant and full of texture. Don’t be afraid to swap in your family’s favorite greens or grains if you want to switch things up.

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each), skin-on or skinless
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free option
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine or brown rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the honey sriracha glaze.
  4. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized but not burnt.
  5. While the salmon bakes, prepare your rice and chop the veggies—shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, and avocado make a lovely, fresh contrast.
  6. Divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Top each with a salmon fillet, then arrange the vegetables around the fish.
  7. Drizzle any leftover glaze over the bowls, sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh herbs if using.
