- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the seafood mixture into each shell, filling them generously.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells over the sauce.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
