  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon the seafood mixture into each shell, filling them generously.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells over the sauce.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
